Tobtok
The Swedish producer who just can’t stop those midnight snacks…
Your perfect breakfast would be…
A really strong cup of coffee with freshly squeezed orange juice. With this I would have some Hungarian bread, a big plate of bacon and egg and some Sriracha sauce on top.
The most unusual thing I have ever eaten…
The one thing that felt the weirdest for me was at my sister’s place where she’d made raw beef with a cracked raw egg on top with various toppings. I’m usually open to test new things but this was too much for me ha!
The dish that reminds me of my childhood
Pork Chops with rice and peas! Never again…
Who taught you to cook?
As far as I can remember it would be my Mom, on my own initiative though!
Your favourite 3 restaurants in your hometown…
Oh god, we don’t have any decent places! But if I had to name one decent place it would be a cheap mobile falafel-wagon called “Dr. Falafel” where everyone goes after a night out.
And some of the places from around the world you love hanging out at…
London, Helsinki, Ibiza and Hungary have been my favorite places so far! Especially the east area of London is a place where I’ve spent a lot of time in recently and it kind of feels like a second home!
A musician or DJ that has surprised you with their cooking skills…what did they cook
That’d probably be my manager! At first I thought he would be a bad cook as he always eats out and barely make any food at home. He actually does the best Bolognese I’ve ever had, it’s kind of his signature dish!
Your guilty pleasure food. You know you shouldn’t but you always do…
A big and greasy McDonalds, usually after a great gig…
What is your signature dish
A lens stew is my recipe, unfortunately. Not very glamorous I know!
If you could have a master-class with a celebrity chef, who’d you pick and why?
I would probably choose Gordon Ramsey just for him to have a go at me, it would be hilarious!
The most you have ever spent on a meal
Probably like £30 on half a pizza in Norway, what a rip off.
Dead or alive – 3 people from history/celebrities you would invite around for dinner…
Michael Jackson, Justin Bieber and Deadmau5, that’d be interesting!
A dish you have yet to master…
Cooking a decent steak, that’s probably something I’ll never succeed with.
Your favourite pizza topping
Artichoke or prawn!
Your biggest ever food cock up
Once when I made popcorn in a pan I almost burnt the whole house down – and the popcorn was black as the night.
Some restaurants from around the world you adore
Fish Shack in Ibiza, Five Guys in London and Shake Shack in Miami.
A dish you just cannot stomach
A big Indian Curry, it always gets me stuck on the toilet by the end of the night. I learned that the hard way when I had a big meal before a gig…
The best airline for food?
I rarely buy food on the plane but this year I was in business-class on a Finnair-flight to Paris and it was kinda good.
You get in from a gig and you need to sober up with some food. You reach for…
A big bag of crisps or a massive falafel and pray that I get to keep it in the stomach overnight.
Ibiza…
My favourite restaurant on the island…
Fish Shack!
The best sunset spot for a cold drink?
By the marina in Ibiza-Town!
An album you love driving around the island listening to…
Any Toolroom compilation!
Your favourite Ibiza dish?
A good paella!
A perfect 24 hours in Ibiza would be…
Sit by a nice restaurant by the ocean and then hit one of the island’s amazing clubs and hopefully end up at some crazy American dude’s hotel room! Speaking from experience.
A little known secret Ibiza food hideaway?
Fish Shack, I know I’ve been obsessing by it but it’s the best fish I’ve ever had and it’s relatively unknown!
A record that always reminds you of Ibiza…
