The most unusual thing I have ever eaten…

There is veal, but then there is white veal. That was by far the most unusual thing I’ve ever eaten! I tried it at the hotel restaurant, La Bouitte in France.  Definitely one of the more adventurous foods I’ve tried.

The dish that reminds me of my childhood

My grandmother used to cook the most delicious borscht on the planet! Every time I order borscht it reminds me of her. Of course everyone thinks that their grandma has the best dish, but I’d like to challenge anyone else’s borscht; it won’t come close!

This is definitely a tough question to answer! Growing up in Moscow I’ve been exposed to so many incredible restaurants and dishes. If I had to choose my absolute favorite, I’d have to say Cafe Pushkin. It’s incredible, open 24 hours a day, with the best service and food I’ve ever had in my life.

A DJ that has surprised you with their cooking skills…

Two years ago when I went to the IMS Conference in Ibiza, Company Burn together with DJ Sasha and Felix Da HouseCat made an amazing dinner for everyone. DJ Sasha and his father made amazing lamb chops together!

Burgers! The burgers in America are amazing! I’ve been touring a lot in NYC, and no matter what time it is after my shows, sometimes I just have to get a burger. I’ve been trying out different places after each show, trying to find the best burger in NYC.

Your siganture dish?

I love to cook, I love trying different combinations and taking some risks. But I have been told that I make the best grilled fish, with potatoes and green salad.

If you could have a master-class with a celebrity chef, who’d you pick and why?

I don’t really know a lot about celebrity chefs, but I can definitely tell you that I would love to take a class from a master sushi cook; I have always wanted to learn how to make good sushi.
